Through her clinic, La Vogue Experts Clinic, she brings together aesthetic surgery, oculoplasty and longevity care under one roof, work that has helped push the UAE forward as a destination for advanced medical aesthetics in the region.
She said her path started with ophthalmology, and it still sits at the core of everything she does. The eye area, she explained, touches on vision, expression, confidence and how people relate to those around them.
Dr Amina noticed something missing in the UAE market, a space where medical skill meets cosmetic care, and she saw more patients coming in wanting both functional treatment and cosmetic results.
She never saw the clinic as just a business. To her, it works more like a mission, one built on specialist care, honest advice and a patient experience that still respects medical discipline.
Moving from surgeon to entrepreneur asked something different of her. Where surgery meant focusing on anatomy and results, running a clinic meant building a team, setting a culture and keeping care consistent across every patient.

Her academic path took her through a medical degree at the University of Jordan, then back to Dubai for her internship and ophthalmology residency with Dubai Health Authority. She later trained further in oculoplasty and aesthetics in London and Paris.
For UAE residents, she recommends staying hydrated, wearing UV-protective sunglasses and taking breaks from screens, along with regular eye checks for anyone managing diabetes, thyroid issues or autoimmune conditions.
Dr Amina pointed to Emirati women taking on bigger roles across specialised medicine and healthcare entrepreneurship, and she encouraged younger women to step into leadership positions within the field.
