Background
SAP Business Women’s Network and SAP Youth Council, working with Dubai Internet City, brought together senior women leaders and young Emirati talent to discuss how more women can build careers in technology and help prepare the next generation for an AI-driven economy.
The event combined an executive panel with an interactive youth session and forms part of this year’s extended Emirati Women’s Day celebrations, running for a full month under the theme “We Emerge Stronger and Better.”
H.E. Sarah Alzaabi, Director General at Ras Al Khaimah Government, delivered the keynote and said Emirati women have already shown what they can achieve across government, business, science and technology, adding that as AI reshapes work, women need the skills, exposure and support to seize the opportunities it creates.
Ammar Al Malik, Executive Vice President of Commercial at TECOM Group and Managing Director of Dubai Internet City, said Emirati women have made vital contributions across sectors including technology and entrepreneurship, and that Dubai Internet City provides an ecosystem where businesses, talent and innovators can connect and build pathways for the next generation.
SAP said the event reflects its broader effort to build a skilled Emirati workforce through networking, mentorship and skills development across universities and the workforce, noting its Young Professionals Program has trained Emirati talent for over a decade, with women making up more than 80% of recent graduates.
Mouza AlMansoori, an Emirati AI Advisor at SAP and President of the SAP Youth Council, moderated the panel and said young Emirati women should see a future for themselves in technology as AI creates new roles, adding that bringing senior leaders and youth together helps grow women’s participation.
