Background-
Women Board of Directors, in collaboration with PwC Middle East, will host an event titled Reaffirmation, bringing together accomplished Emirati women leaders from business, government and wider society for an afternoon of dialogue and recognition.
The event will take place at PwC Middle East’s offices in Emaar Square, Dubai, on 28 September, building on the momentum of Emirati Women’s Day. It aims to recognise the contribution of Emirati women to the UAE’s development while examining priorities for the next generation of leaders.
The collaboration brings together WBD, which supports the advancement of women into senior corporate leadership roles, and PwC Middle East, which works with organisations across the region on governance and sustainable growth. Women with varied leadership backgrounds will share their perspectives at the event.
Poonam Chawla, Founder of WBD, said the partnership with PwC Middle East makes the event a distinctive occasion, adding that both organisations share a commitment to creating opportunities for women to lead and have a greater voice in their communities.
