Al-Banawi posted news about it on Instagram with photos of the campaign. She appears holding Montblanc items, including pens, notebooks, leather bags, and watches, in the photos. The shots show her in different settings, from sitting with a notebook and pen to carrying a leather portfolio by a window, highlighting the brand’s elegant and modern style.

This collaboration is the latest in Al-Banawi’s list of international partnerships. Last year, she was part of Estée Lauder’s Together We Shine campaign, which honored Arab women who are making a difference in their fields.

Alongside her brand work, Al-Banawi has built a strong name in film. She gained recognition with the 2016 Saudi drama Barakah Meets Barakah, which won critical praise and introduced her to wider audiences. She later starred in Netflix’s Egyptian series Paranormal and ventured into directing with the short film Until We See Light in 2020. In the same year, she helped write, direct, and act in the Shahid Original series Al-Shak, which was created completely from her home during the pandemic.

Her latest project, Basma, released on Netflix in June, has been at the center of regional film discussions. The movie is her debut feature as a director, in which she also took on the roles of writer, lead actress, and even songwriter for its soundtrack.

Basma tells the story of a young woman who returns to Jeddah after studying abroad, only to find out that her parents have divorced. The film looks at family relationships, mental health, and the struggles of moving forward. Al-Banawi’s performance has been widely appreciated.
