Key Background:

IBPC Dubai has started the Women’s Collective, a program to support women entrepreneurs and professionals in the UAE. The initiative will help women gain leadership visibility, connect with mentors, and build strong business networks.

The Women’s Collective officially kicks off on September 12 at the Taj Business Bay. The opening session will feature a fireside chat between humanitarian sector consultant Haya Mashhood and Suaad Al Suwaidi, the first Emirati woman wildlife photographer, engineer, and adventurer whose work has been internationally recognized. The event is open only to female members of IBPC Dubai and aims to encourage inspiring conversations and useful mentorship.

It also builds on IBPC Dubai’s new Affiliate Tier Membership, which offers affordable access to resources and professional support. This shows the council’s strong focus on inclusion and developing talent in the UAE’s growing business community.

“This initiative is not just about one event, it’s about creating a larger movement,” said Jayshree Gupta, Governor of IBPC Dubai and founder of The In-House Company. “We want to create spaces where women can gain visibility, build powerful connections, and learn directly from trailblazers. This reflects the UAE’s vision of advancing diversity and innovation.”

Highlighting the caliber of the initiative’s speakers, Gupta praised Suaad Al Suwaidi’s achievements in documenting wildlife across the globe. Al Suwaidi’s photography has appeared on well-known platforms such as National Geographic, CNN Arabic, MBC, and Nikon. She has won several top awards, including the Mother Teresa Award for Peace, and is known for promoting wildlife conservation and cultural understanding.
