Her rise mirrors Saudi Arabia’s expanding industrial base, which keeps opening fresh leadership paths across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and procurement under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 push.
The National Industrial Strategy works to solidify supply chains, drive local manufacturing growth and push exports higher and the General Authority for Statistics noted female labour force participation stood at 36.2 percent in the third quarter of 2024.
Bubshait started at John Crane in 2018 within customer service, building a solid grasp of the business before shifting into procurement four years on. She said that grounding shaped how she now approaches leadership, adding that every choice made within the company circles back to the customer.
She pointed to her former manager and mentor, Abdullah, as a key influence, saying his early confidence in her abilities helped her push through a tough stretch of organisational change.
