Key Background:

Tracy Moxley will lead iCademy Middle East as the new Head of School and Principal. She replaces Diane Claver, who guided the school for 13 years.

With 25 years of international school leadership experience, Moxley brings a wealth of expertise to iCademy. Since 2014, she has led an international school in Spain and managed an online academy in Switzerland as Director of Education.

Commenting on her new role, Moxley said she is thrilled to join iCademy as it marks its 18th year. She is enthusiastic about the flexibility online learning provides students and looks forward to guiding the school through its next stage of growth and development.

iCademy Middle East has been helping families since 2007, providing online lessons and flexible in-person learning at its Knowledge Hub in Dubai. The school uses the AMP platform, which provides research-based lessons, digital tools, and personalized eLearning. Students attend live virtual classes and complete self-paced lessons, while teachers give them regular feedback.

More parents in Dubai now prefer flexible schooling as work in the city moves toward hybrid arrangements. Surveys from Dubai’s RTA and DGHR found that about one-third of private companies already let employees work remotely, and more than half plan to offer this option in the future.

Moxley underscored the relationship between hybrid work and education and wrote: Education is being adjusted to meet the changing demands of families. Dubai families that value a middle ground between physical education and independent online research have welcomed the Knowledge Hub at iCademy. It is a hybrid model of the future and present reality of our students.

As online and blended learning have continued to gain popularity in the Middle East, iCademy is in a constant state of improvement, offering families a high-quality, flexible learning experience that suits the current lifestyle.
